Current Spain?

This year, Spain has got the glory to decide whether the currency Euro succeeded or failed overall. However, this could be very trobulesome for Spain. Though it is true that Spain has relatively big economy compared to many of other Euro Zone countries, Spain is suffering with 19% unemployment along with 3.6 decrease in the growth domestic product. This indicates that Spain is rather facing harshtime and falling into swamp of recession. However, sadly enough, Spain really can’t do anything because their currency is also being used by other European countries. They won’t be able to do anything that’s related to appreciating or depreciating the currency along with increasing the interest rate. Lastly, they definitely can’t print out more Euros just for themselves. I would say that common currency is ruining the Spanish Economy without a dobut.

To strengthen your analysis, I’d recommend using (and defining) more economic terms e.g. common currency, exchange rate. You could elaborate on why Spain switched from the peseta to the Euro as well as the government’s response to its financial issues. Good luck!
